Perun is the Slavic god of thunder and lightning, similar to his mythological “cousins” Thor in the north and Zeus in the south. Perun is the protector of order and justice. His sacred tree is the oak, which remains a symbol of power to this day.
The story of Perun and our bullets is a story of friendship and happy coincidences.
Two relatives and passionate members of the hunting brotherhood were often disappointed in their search for a hunting bullet that would satisfy their desire for accuracy, effective killing and minimal damage to meat. They were convinced that the best local and healthy food was game, but the range of monolithic bullets that would meet the most demanding hunting standards was inadequate. Harmful lead had long since ceased to be an option.
One fine day, they admitted this out loud, and their friends – brothers, both engineers by education and profession – overheard them and were able to help with the design and construction of a copper monolithic sphere.
With patience and perseverance, the four began writing a chapter on modern monolithic bullets in a heavier design, which the hunting market was lacking. With the selfless, indispensable and comradely help of numerous hunters from near and far, four years of intensive testing followed until the result was satisfactory after every shot.
This has resulted in a top-quality product for hunting and, consequently, for culinary purposes.
